Our Impact
TOK (Transfer of Knowledge) empowers women and girls from conflict-affected and marginalized communities to gain new opportunities for self-determination and personal growth. Our programs support participants in bringing valuable skills, experiences, and cultural diversity to society, while also fostering mutual understanding. Through targeted educational support and a strong network, we help them overcome conventional barriers and take on active roles within their communities.
TOK helps women and girls to question conventional role models and embrace new options. In this way, we promote a transformation in society that puts women’s skills and strengths back at the center.
Our programs strengthen the economic foundation of community structures by employing local staff and enabling and developing targeted qualifications. This offers families secure long-term financial prospects.

Lorin’s success story
Lorin Shekho, a graduate of the Faculty of Women’s Studies (Jinolojî), describes the positive impact of the program on her professional success. Our computer training provided Lorin with the confidence and skills she needed to secure a position at the University of Rojava in northeastern Syria. Today, she motivates other women to seize this opportunity and further develop their skills in order to achieve their personal goals.

Amal Bouzan, a student from Homs, Syria, reflects the positive influence of our program.
